The N1ST's Journey Part 2

Afler continued to fall down the dark hole, unsure what would become of him. All he knew that this emptied into something that would crush him. But it continued, like the bottom never existed. It twisted and turned and half the time, he swore he saw the ship's corridors. But during all time, someone else was having the same problem.
Commander Tya, a hawkan, was rushing to her quarters. A Hawkan is a mix between hawks, and humans, which result in humans with beaks. Although it can be hard to be a hawkan in a group of humans, and be proud, Tya is respected on the N1ST.
She was hurrying to her quarters for a special reason. Captain Juan had ordered her to present her report on the space ahead of them. It was a space they haven't discovered and they really needed to know what it was. But since Tya hasn't returned fast enough, they proceeded.
Tya had a reason. The ship seemed to be twisted. Half of the time she bumped into someone who was trying to get to another part of the ship. She encountered something weird. She found Sergent Kaya's, Commander Hanson's, and Gogi's (the cook) quarters all on the same deck. But Sergent Kaya's quarters is on Deck 5, Commander Hanson's quarters is on Deck 2, and Gogi's quarters is on Deck 7, near the kitchen.
Now how can Decks 5, 2, and 7 all be on Deck 9? That can't be. She searched all of Deck 9, which she had memorized on her first day. But it seem longer, actually it seemed like she was walking all the way around the ship. She kept searching. This time, she talked to everyone she saw.
"Gogi," she said to the cook, who really liked her and was a great friend, "What level are you on and where are you going or what are you looking for?"
Gogi, a frazzled Corthian, a species of humans with spots on their body, was actually frightened when he saw her bumped into him. He was skipping along to the kitchen, where he would serve his famous Mushroom and Spinach pot pies. (which were actually not tasty at all and it seemed that Gogi never found out)
Gogi tried to think hard on the question. In fact, he thought he was still on Deck 7. When he said that to Tya, she burst out laughing. Gogi grew that look in his eye when Tya told her side.
"Gogi," Tua said calmly, "were on Deck 9, I'm positive. I was going down to Deck 9 to get my report for Captain Juan."
"But Tya," Gogi exclaimed, "you must be sick. We're on Deck 7, which is why I'm confused why you would be here, unless you like early breakfast."
"No thank you," Tya firmly spoke, "but we both have a problem. You say you're on Deck 7, while I say Deck 9. Haven't you have thought that they might have been fused?"
"Fused?" Gogi asked, raising his eyebrow.
"Yes, it's a possibility and a logical one. We might have stumbled on a fused corridor that has Decks 7 and 9 together."
There she goes again, thought Gogi. Her people have always been logical race, that always have a answer to everything. Most the time, the humans aboard fall asleep while she's explaining a circuit gate and how they both work and are made.
"But Tya," Gogi interrupted while she was explaining how the deck would have been fused, "There is no possible way for it to happen. For one, wouldn''t you have thought that we have seen a upward slant on Deck 8? And for two, why would they have fused the corridors?"
"Well, I can answer the second one. People could travel from Deck 9 to the kitchen with out the elevator. But you're true on the first question. So what's happening to the ship. You know what, we should get to Deck 1 and command a full flash scan to show us a picture of the ship."
Just then, another person came toward them, or more of a group of people.

The N1ST's Journey

The USA had just made a great discovery; the Russians, Chinese, and the Islams had been making space crafts to conquer more. It's right now January 1, 2590 B.S.E(Before Space Exploration) and the people have rebelled at least twenty times, plus the government had retreated in to a bunker deep in the White House. There the president,  Jim Gretel III, still lives, supplied to the brim with all the world food he could bribe out of the hands of rich kings and presidents. Now, people have set up a different sort of government. But that does not matter. The point is, America is advancing to a new age, The Space Age.
The ASF(American Space Federation) have tried their best to build an space ship that could go farther into space without the crew dieing in the process. Finally, they made it, the N1ST, (that had many cabin quarters, a large kitchen, a engineering station, a battle station, and the main part of the ship)that could go where no other could go. Many signed up for the journey into space, but only few were allowed. Men and women with courage and many people who knew strategies, medical procedures, and many other things. But one man on broad discovered something.
Afler Brimbrock was a crew member of the N1ST, head of engineering. Afler was down in engineering when he heard the most unbelievable sound, an squeak coming from the back of Engine 1. When he marched into the door to find out what was going on, he found Engine 1 had a hole in it. The air was being pushed out from the engine and the result was a squeak noise. Afler knew he had to do something, but what could he do? The hole was so big, it would take three full rolls of duct tape to just hold the air in. And the engine is far from the rail, so he would need a ladder. And what if someone saw the ladder? They start asking questions and then it would be a mess.
Afler quickly tried to jump jump on the engine but he fell, down a deep hole of blackness.

The Witch's Curse

If was once told of a witch who would, if she was in the mood, grant wishes to passersby. But she was in a terrible mood, for the king had pass a law against witchcraft in the land. All the witches fled, but Marica, the White Witch, had stayed, for she had a plan. She soon casted a spell that cause the king to go insane. He would acted wild, like a wolf, at the dinner table and grabbed at women like they were gold money.
But the king had jump out the window and ran on housetops, for his sense of smell grew so strong, that he had found his prey, the one who had cursed him. He jumped on the wall, dispatched the guards, not killing them, and ran into the wild. He then burst into Marica's house and told her that if she doesn't undo this, he'll kill her.
Marica said, "Thy say thee will eat of my flesh and drink of my blood, but I can strengthen the spell and thy shall jump into thee cold lake, next to my little cottage and freeze."
Before the witch could strengthen the spell, the king leaped onto Marica and her scream echoed through the forest. Then, the king was back to normal, and he couldn't believe what he had done. He never spoke of it to anyone. He then let the witches back and never again did he go crazy.
The Moral of this Story is: Don't fight fire with fire, or it'll make both disapper.

The Fox and The Owl

There was once a fox who would boast of his amazing skill and cleverness. Everyday, he would awake from sleep and trot along a wide, clear path, where most of the animals' homes are located. In fact, the fox would yell about and say that he had a new story to tell of his great and powerful might. But one animal, mainly the owl, knew that he was a liar and he had to be punish. So the owl said to the fox, "If thy(you) really are as great and powerful as thy says, then why don't thee proves his worthiness."
Then the owl spotted a hunter, looking for prey to feed his family. Then the owl came up with an idea.
The owl looked at the fox, "Why don't thy attack thee hunter, who most animals fear and then if thee hunter runs, then we shall surely believe thy"
The fox, feeling sure of himself, ran after the hunter, who with astonishment, shot the fox badly in the leg and quickly took off the leg. Then he skinned his hide, which the fox howled and ran off instead. After that, the fox couldn't raise his head anymore. And then the owl was great and powerful, and wise.
The Moral of this Story is: A boaster is nothing what he says he is and will always be punish.

The Mirror and The Queen

Once there was a queen who had a mirror and every day she looked into the mirror and adored herself, for she thought she was the most beautiful person in the world. But one day, the mirror was mad, for what has the queen done for him, for he has shone the queen her reflection every morning and evening.
So he decided that in order to get revenge on the queen, he would show her the face of a peasant who had millions of pimples and the measles. So when the queen looked at her reflection, she screamed and ran out of the castle, bursting out and shouting that her face had pimples everywhere. All the servants, the princes, kitchen maids, chiefs, and the king thought she had gone mad, for her face was perfect in every way.
And the queen did go mad, for in order to make sure no one ever knew what her face was, she hid her head under a pot, making a hole for her eyes and mouth. She never went out to balls or parties, for she thought someone would pull the pot off and show her hideous face. Her own parents and husband were never allowed into her room, for she could not let them look upon such a terrible face.
Soon, the king grew desperate, for if she would not attend to her needs, the kingdom would fall. So the king got rid of the queen and found another queen to attend to her problems. And this queen didn't care for what she looked like, and no one even notice anything wrong about her.
The Moral of this Story is: don't expect yourself to be the most beautiful person.
